The Society
The Alberta Pest Management Association is a registered non-profit society governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. The Board is responsible for financial oversight, strategic direction, and supporting educational opportunities for members. The Society operates in accordance with its bylaws and provincial regulations. Each year the Society holds an Annual General Meeting where members receive updates and participate in the governance of the Association.
The Alberta Pest Management Association (APMA) was incorporated in 2023 to continue the work of the former Pest Management Association of Alberta (PMAA), originally established in 2011. Following a governance review, the organization was restructured and relaunched under the APMA name with updated bylaws adopted in November 2023. The Association continues to support Alberta’s structural pest management industry through education, advocacy, and professional collaboration.
