Meet the Board of Directors
Nicholas immigrated to Canada from Australia in his early twenties. After beginning his career as a chef, he transitioned into the structural pest control industry when his credentials were not recognized in Canada. He gained experience as a service technician and in sales with PCO Services before joining Absolute Pest Control. In 2009, Nicholas founded Peregrine General Pest Control, which has grown to a team of 18 employees.
As President of APMA, Nicholas is committed to strengthening education opportunities for members, fostering constructive relationships with Alberta Environment and Parks and PMRA, and increasing engagement across the membership.
Geraldine O’Sullivan is a Branch Manager with Orkin Canada and has spent 16 years in the pest management industry. Beginning her career as a field technician, she advanced into management, gaining hands-on experience at every level of operations. Her industry knowledge spans field service, leadership development, and organizational growth.
Geraldine became involved with the Alberta Pest Management Association to support a strong, professional pest management industry in Alberta, with a focus on integrity, education, and continued innovation. She is committed to advancing training opportunities and strengthening industry standards across the province.

Corinne Down

Corinne is a Quality Assurance professional with Abell Pest Control and brings nearly two decades of experience in the pest management industry. She holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo and a Technical Diploma in Ecosystem Management. In 2017, she earned her Associate Certified Entomologist (ACE-I) designation and later completed Purdue University’s Advanced Urban/Industrial IPM program.
Corinne is licensed as an applicator and fumigator across multiple provinces and has extensive practical fumigation experience. A seasoned trainer and public speaker, she regularly delivers technical training and industry presentations. She contributes to the Board with a strong commitment to education, professional standards, and regulatory excellence.

Nicholas Holland
Kent entered the pest control industry with a strong background in agriculture and retail customer service—experience that has proven invaluable in diagnosing problems and delivering practical solutions for clients. He quickly developed a passion for the investigative and problem-solving nature of structural pest management.
Kent joined the Board to strengthen industry connections and enhance the value of educational events and networking opportunities for member companies and their technicians. As a Past President of the PMAA, he remains committed to supporting a professional, service-driven industry that prioritizes both technical excellence and client care.
James entered the pest control industry following a career in hospitality, event management, and the creative arts, including independent theatre and film. What began as a summer position quickly developed into a long-term career, where he gained experience working with several pest control companies and refining his technical expertise and problem-solving approach.
In 2019, James founded Lavellan Pest Solutions, bringing a creative and client-focused perspective to the industry. He joined the PMAA Board to help foster a diverse, dynamic, and professional pest management community in Alberta, and is committed to supporting continued growth and collaboration across the province.
